He had a genuine Christian conversion and the Lord has used him in a mighty way in his prison ministry.

The aim of the Manhatten Statement is to get one million signatories, which should be easy enough to do. Regardless of what you may hear and read today, America is a Christian nation founded on Christian principles but millions have lost they way in today’s social and cultural morass.

Signing this statement is in obedience to God’s Word: “If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves anbd pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chron. 2:14 NIV)

The Watergate conspirator? I’ve noticed a pattern of people on the right taking advice from figures known to have committed treason. Oliver North (who lied to cover Reagan’s dealings with terrorists), Sarah Palin (who’s husband plotted an Alaskan rebellion) and Chuck Colson who played an integral role in undermining our election system).
