I agree w/ your thoughts and appreciate Trueman&#039;s article. 

Where do go from here? How do we not encourage the propagation of a celebrity culture in the church? Or, as the Together for the Gospel organizers have chosen to do, do we leverage the celebrity culture for the sake of the Gospel? 

It seems that individual Christians need to live out their faith in reliance upon God and active involvement and membership in a local church. Pastors need to exhort people to use their own gifts to build up the church (Eph 4). 

And then, with those things in place, we take advantage of the technology of our day to learn from John Piper, Mark Dever, Russell Moore, etc.]]></description>
